Viva® Bedding Disposal Workstation
Cage cleaning and bedding disposal tasks are now simpler, safer and more productive with the Viva® Bedding Disposal Workstation. This workstation protects animal researchers and the laboratory environment from allergens during routine bedding disposal procedures.
The Viva® Bedding Disposal Workstation draws in laboratory air through a spacious work access opening which accomodates both small and large animal cages. The combination of aerodynamic intake surfaces and airflow baffles in the work zone create the safest conditions for operator safety. All intake air is triple filtered before discharge to the laboratory. Filtration elements include a pre-filter, ULPA filter and activated carbon filter to remove particulates (allergens) and gaseous contaminants (odors).
This workstation is equipped with a integral waste container accessible through a disposal chute on the work surface. The large waste container eliminates frequent disposal and improves productivity. The entire assembly is mounted on casters for easily mobility.

Reinforced Safety

Minipleat separatorless U15 ULPA filter with a typical
efficiency of 99.9997% at MPPS, 99.9998% at both 0.3
and 0.12 microns provide the best operator / environmental
protection in the world; typical main ULPA filter lifespan is more
than 3 years depending on operating conditions and the total
number of hours in usage per day.

Disposable and non-washable pre-filter, installed behind the
filter diffuser, helps remove large dust particles, thus extending
the life of the main ULPA filter. Carbon filter at exhaust removes
odours.

Activated carbon filter, installed for odor removal, Esco offer different types of options for different purposes like Option B for acid filter and Option F for Aldehyde filter. Esco offer more option range. Please refer to the nearest distributors for more information

Additional 2-piece removable perforated filter diffuser protects
the filter against accidental damage. The 2-piece design
facilitates easy removal and cleaning of the diffusers.
Control Features

Esco Sentinel™ Microprocessor Cabinet Control System allows the user to easily access all cabinet functions. The control
system monitors and displays cabinet airflow constantly on the
control LCD screen, prompting the user with audible and visual
alarms in case of any unsafe condition.

Fail-safe system ensures that in case of airflow failure, the
cabinet automatically shuts down to ensure safety to the user
and the environment.

True airflow velocity (both for downflow and inflow velocity)
sensing technology, with temperature compensation for
improved sensor accuracy.

Audible and visual alarms for low airflow, unsafe sash
positions.

Automatic warm-up cycle is enabled upon turning on the
cabinet, ensuring all contaminants are purged from the
cabinet workzone before the operator can use the cabinet.
All menu functions are inactive during this period. Automatic
post-purge cycle is also enabled at shutdown, ensuring all
residue contaminants are purged out of the workzone before
deactivation.
