Swift™ Spectrum 48 features advanced Peltier and fiber optic technology.
Uniformity, stability and spread are improved by using a constant-current power supply and an advanced multi-point temperature control module.
The Swift™ Spectrum 48 has improved temperature control and guaranteed uniform heating throughout the sample block, improving the speed, accuracy and general quality of the PCR reaction.

- Multi point temperature monitoring allows more accurate and uniform temperature control throughout the heating block
- After completion of the PCR run the system can automatically hold samples at 4 Celsius
- Improved Optics: Efficient fiber optic system provides a reduced signal to noise ratio
- Multiple tube types: The sample block will accept several types of 0.2ml tubes including 8-tube strips
- Automatic amplitude adjustment: The instrument detects the fluorescence intensity of the samples and automatically adjusts to the correct system

Sample Grouping
The block can be segmented into 4 groups.Up to 4 experiments can be run at the same time. Positive standards can be analyzed in each group and the results directly compared to the relevant sample data in each group.
Software
Swift™ Spectrum 48 is a multicolor fluorescence detection system. It is user-friendly multi-tasking and designed to analyse data from many applications. These include quantitation, melting curves, SNP`s and many more.
The open platform chemistry permits a wide choice of reagents including SYBR green, ROX, TAMRA, HEX, Molecular Beacons, Taq Man® and others.
