Industry Participation & Education

As part of our commitment towards giving back to the industry, Esco Biotechnology Equipment Division regularly organizes training courses and seminars designed to educate laboratory scientists, users, safety officers, and technicians on aspects concerning the installation, use, operation, and maintenance of our products. Participants of these courses also include Esco Biotech distributors, as well as independent certifier / validation companies specialized in the testing and validation of clean air equipment. Every year at Esco headquarters, we organize quarterly training seminars, a comprehensive set of workshops that consist of theory workshops, practical sessions as well as sales and marketing workshops. Technical workshops are conducted by Esco's NSF-accredited Biological Safety Cabinet field certifier.

Esco Biotech periodically organizes workshops overseas for the benefit of regional distributors. These workshops are designed to keep Esco distributors updated on the latest developments in our product range, as well as to create an opportunity for discussions between Esco representatives and distributors from the region. Many of our workshops are organized in conjunction with large exhibitions in the region.

In 2005, Esco held 3 training workshops at its headquarters and more than 15 workshops and seminars around the world.

Customer Initiatives

One of Esco's main objectives is to establish and maintain strong technical and sales support for the end-users of our products: the laboratory scientists and research personnel. Today, Esco has customers in more than 75 countries worldwide. Our sales and support staff travel regularly around the world for customer visits and end-user training seminars.

Back in our in house research facilities, our R&D team integrates feedback from end users with new technology to constantly improve our products. Sales staffs regularly attend trade shows and visit key customers to gather valuable feedback and information.

Esco's US division, Esco Technologies Inc is a corporate member of Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST), American Biological Safety Association (ABSA), Laboratory Products Association (LPA).
